Quel che forse non sapete è che proprio in corrispondenza con il luogo della segnalazione è stato ritrovato un Galeone affondato, pare si tratti di una nave chiamata Serieux di cui ho trovato tracce storiche che vi riporto.
Il rapporto dei sommozzatori:
“I materiali metallici finora rinvenuti hanno subito gli effetti dei processi ossidativi presumibilmente nella prima fase di permanenza subacquea. Ai prodotti scaturiti dalla corrosione si è unita la sabbia, i ciottoli ed i resti conchigliari dell’ambiente di giacitura, formando un consistente involucro protettivo su tutta la superficie dei manufatti. Attualmente lo stato di degrado sembra comunque stabile, non si riscontrano tracce di riavvio del fenomeno corrosivo.”
Potrebbe essere una buona idea per un’immersione alla scoperta dei nostri fondali immergendosi anche nella storia della nostra regione, magari in compagnia dei nostri istruttori di Diving Coral Reef
