La nonna del mio amico gli raccontò una storia su questa casa secondo la quale subito dopo l’abbandono della casa la gente del posto iniziò a notare strane cose, sembra infatti che dalle sue finestre si vedessero strane ombre la notte ed in alcuni casi si scorgeva una giovane donna vestita di bianco. A seguito delle numerose segnalazioni la casa fu chiusa sostituendo alle porte ed alle finestre file di mattoni.

The story takes place in Sardinia, and was brought back to me by a friend who has in turn discovered it by telling a story of her grandmother who has now gone on to a better life; along the provincial road that leads to the island of Sant’Antioco there is an old roadman house now in total abandonment, with walled entrances. Today what remains is the sealed walls and the collapsed roof that exposes it further to the elements.
My friend’s grandmother told him a story about this house according to which immediately after the abandonment of the house the locals began to notice strange things, it seems in fact that from its windows we could see strange shadows at night and in some cases we could see a young woman dressed in white. Following numerous reports, the house was closed by replacing bricks with doors and windows.
