Stiamo parlando dei Drullios… Questi esseri abitano la celebre gola de “Su Gorropu” ossia un profondo canyon ubicato nel Supramonte, in Sardegna. Questa gola si è originata grazie all’intensa azione erosiva provocata delle acque del Rio Flumineddu, con i suoi oltre 500 m di altezza ed una larghezza che varia da poche decine a circa 4 metri, è considerata uno dei canyon più profondi d’Europa ed ospita diversi endemismi sardi.
Si dice che durante le notti tempestose queste creature chiamate Drullios escano allo scoperto, saccheggino le case e facciano razzia di bestie… Sempre secondo la tradizione più antica il loro aspetto è simile a quello della Morte, un viso spiritato con una espressione che ricorda un urlo senza fine…

We are talking about the Drullios … These beings inhabit the famous gorge of “Su Gorropu” or a deep canyon located in the Supramonte, in Sardinia. This gorge originated thanks to the intense erosive action provoked by the waters of the Rio Flumineddu, with its over 500 m of height and a width that varies from a few tens to about 4 meters, is considered one of the deepest canyons in Europe and hosts several Sardinian endemisms.
It is said that during the stormy nights these creatures called Drullios come out into the open, plunder the houses and raid beasts … Always according to the most ancient tradition their appearance is similar to that of Death, a face with a spirit that resembles a scream endless…
