Ma partiamo dal principio; la fonte era frequentatissima da tempi lontanissimi, e dalla testimonianza diretta di mia nonna, originaria del posto, ho saputo che attorno al 1930 vi persero la vita due bambine e che negli anni successivi molte furono le segnalazioni relative all’apparizione di queste due vittime nei pressi della fonte e ancora oggi molti sostengono che il tratto di strada sia maledetto.
